
Julia joined EV in December of 2018 after working as a project engineer in the construction industry. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Vermont.
Julia’s prior experience includes writing technical submittals, preparing permit applications, and managing client relationships.
She worked for the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation as a hydrology intern analyzing rainfall and streamflow data to determine effective impervious area using RStudio. Julia also worked as a lab technician using GIS to digitize imagery and LIDAR data into land cover types for stormwater and arable land mapping.
Now, working for Engineering Ventures at the Burlington Vermont location, she performs a variety of civil site designs for commercial and residential projects of all sizes. This will allow her to increase her expertise and pursue for her P.E. license in the coming years.
Prior to working in the environmental and engineering industry, Julia worked in other sectors, most recently at Sleepy Hollow Inn and Ski Center.
