Finn joined our Burlington, VT office in June 2026 as a Structural Engineering Intern. He expects to earn his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minor in Applied Design from the University of Vermont in May 2027.
As an intern, Finn expects to learn EV drafting standards, become proficient at using Revit, learn applicable building codes and reference materials manuals, and assist with field work for site evaluations and investigations. Finn is also expected to develop a toolkit of sustainable structural engineering practices under the direct supervision of Project Manager’s. This includes things like basis of design calculations, and discrete analysis and design tasks.
Finn’s past work experience includes completion of a Harvard GSD Design Discovery Architecture Program. He designed and rendered architectural plans, sections, and digital models, producing detailed physical prototypes through laser cutting and 3D Printing. He also integrated feedback from design reviews to iteratively improve project concepts and final presentation quality.
He has also completed a water quality monitoring project in Ecuador. For this project, he designed and field-tested a custom water quality monitoring kit including sensor integration, calibration, and data logging systems for a remote watershed environment. He then traveled to Ecuador to deploy the system so he and his team could collect and analyze Data to support infrastructure protection and watershed management.
Finn has software experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Python and SQL.
