Civil and structural engineering services were provided for renovations and an expansion to include a new retail store, Baking Education Center, and state-of-the-art Bakery at the Flagship Campus. Services included permit and zoning research, and assessment of site opportunities and constraints. Additional work includes a redesign of a failed mound disposal system to allow for the addition of a 25 seat restaurant on site.
Design integrated Low Impact Development (LID) Stormwater Treatment rain gardens, a permeable courtyard, and three large mound systems which were designed to look like rolling fields of wheat along a winding gravel drive. Also, A new customer access drive necessitated an arch bottomless culvert to minimize impacts to a natural stream.
