Moosilauke Ravine Lodge, Warren, NH

Moosilauke Ravine Lodge is owned by Dartmouth College as a getaway for new students, alumni, and the public to have outdoor adventure, gatherings, retreats, meals, and lodging.  With large entertaining spaces indoor and out, a gourmet kitchen, and several guest rooms, it is a place for guests to stay and play.  Situated in the mountains of Warren, NH the surroundings are an outdoor getaway for hiking, biking, relaxation, and adventure.

This beautiful new lodge replaced the existing 1930’s building with a continuation of the rustic character combined with modern energy efficient design and aesthetic details.  The EV design team provided structural services including design of the foundation, structure, heavy timber, and grand stone chimney with a staircase inside of the structure.  One of the unique elements of this design is the “slingshot” shaped tree in the center of the building along with many other features that are ready for you to visit and enjoy.

This great video shows the design of the lodge from the perspective of the architect who EV consulted to for the structural elements of this project.
