Ferrisburgh Town Hall, Ferrisburgh, VT
Structural engineering services were provided for this
new construction which is an exact replication of the original historic
landmark, after it was destroyed by arson.
Wherever possible salvaged artifacts from the original building were reused including; moldings, soffits, brackets, hand grained doors, pressed tin wall coverings, the large wooden medallion that greeted visitors above the main doors, and a portion of the original balcony.
The reconstruction won an AIA VT Design award, as well as an ACEC VT Merit Award for Excellence in Engineering.
