Hannah Wingate, E.I.

Civil Staff Engineer

Hannah has worked in civil engineering consulting since obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont.  She has a strong background in field work having performed an extensive amount of surveying for engineering site work, boundary plats and utility as-built surveys.  Her qualifications also include construction & erosion prevention and sediment control oversight and design as well as stormwater inspection, permitting and design.  Most recently, Hannah has experience with Vermont’s Section 248 permitting process through the development of solar power generation facilities ranging from 500-kilowatt to 5.5-megawatt projects.  Her involvement on these projects has ranged from assessing project feasibility to permitting and design. She is eager to gain experience working on a variety of projects while staying on track for earning her professional engineering license.

The diversity of projects; in my three years, I’ve had no two exactly alike.

What gives you the most satisfaction in your work?

Receiving permit authorization notices.

What’s your favorite way to pass time?

Garage building projects!
