UVM Central Chiller, Burlington, VT

Structural services were provided for the central utility infrastructure at the University of Vermont Central Chiller Plant. The project included 25 foot high masonry screen walls for the new chiller using ground-face block masonry, design of an underground concrete vault, retaining walls and foundation design, and chiller support system with deep sumps.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Waterbury, VT

Structural engineering for the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters’ proposed R&D, Commercial Offices and Warehouse Facility in Waterbury, Vermont. Vermont Granite Museum, Barre, VT

Structural and permitting services were provided for this historic granite manufacturing shed.  Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS) were used to avoid rafter reinforcing and to keep the interior framing exposed. The foundation was replaced allowing the building to be raised above the flood plain.  Winner of ACEC Excellence in Engineering award.
