Roger H. Perry Hall, Champlain College, Burlington, VT

Structural and civil engineering services were provided for the restoration of this 150 year old, Italianate-style brick building for reuse as the campus Welcome Center. Dudley H. Davis Student Center, University of Vermont, Burlington, VT

UVM’s 186,000 sf student center houses a four-story atrium, pub/bistro, grocery, bookstore, ballroom, conference and meeting room, offices for the student associations and services, and loading dock, and terraces.  During construction efforts were made to use recycled and locally produced materials whenever possible. Buchanan Hall, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH

Structural and civil engineering services were provided for this student residence renovation to faculty offices and on-campus housing for Tuck Executive Education. The project included a new covered walkway between Buchanan and the adjacent building over an existing underground tunnel, a new vestibule/entry structure, and a new elevator. Dartmouth College Skiway, Lyme, NH

An award winning 16,000 sf, two-story base lodge was designed into a hillside.  Services included work on local, state and federal permits, including stream crossings, wetland issues, and design for retaining walls, roads, parking, traffic and stormwater.  Structural services for the building incorporated heavy timber, steel, and concrete into the design.

George D. Aiken Center, University of Vermont, Burlington, VT

Civil and structural engineering services were provided for the renovation and expansion for the home of the Rubenstein School of Environmental and Natural Resources.  The project not only received a LEED Platinum certification, it is the highest scoring LEED Platinum building in the state of Vermont, garnering 60 out of a possible 69 points. This is the first LEED Platinum building

UVM Track & Field and Athletics Complex, Burlington, VT

Civil engineering services as well as permitting were provided for the expansion of the Athletic Complex.  An overall plan was developed for the site.  Provided were; demolition of existing utility structures, a proposed site plan and erosion control plan, layout and final grading, and sanitary sewer, water and design of a subsurface stormwater retention system,

Life Sciences Center, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH

Civil services were provided for this new 170,000 sf facility with 30 wet labs, offices, conference rooms, theater and amphitheater classrooms, and teaching labs. Services included site layout and grading, layout of campus based utilities, municipal utilities, vehicle circulation and parking, demolition and reuse design, roof water collection and re-use (estimated at 1mil gallons/year), quad infiltration

Grinnell Road, University of Massachusetts – Amherst, MA

Engineering Ventures was selected to provide ongoing civil engineering “House Doctor” services for the University at their Amherst campus. This project included the schematic design and design development of improvements to Grinnell Road and associated nearby features.
